Welcome to the portal for completing the mandatory ICES annual renewals.

​The deadline to complete this year’s renewals is May 31, 2024

​ICES Agents, please access the Agent and Confidentiality Agreement and Conflict of Interest Declaration by signing in via Azure AD under the ICES Agent section with your ICES username and password.

1. Agent and Confidentiality Agreement (ACA) for 2024-2025

Every individual who works with ICES or is given access to information is required to sign an annual ACA. The ACA outlines the responsibilities, duties and privileges associated with being an ICES Agent.

2. Conflict of Interest (COI) Declaration for 2024-2025

All members of the ICES community must complete an annual COI declaration. ICES may make a summary of all COI declarations and management plans publicly available, such as by posting on our public website, if it decides this is prudent for good governance; at this time ICES makes information on scientist COIs publicly available. For each Scientist, there is a statement that they have or have not declared any “ICES-relevant COIs”.

3. Privacy Security e-training for 2024-2025 (external link)

ICES, as a prescribed entity is required to deliver annual privacy and security training to all agents of ICES. The requirement is set out in the IPC Manual for Prescribed Entities and Prescribed Persons. Online e-learning modules have been developed for this annual privacy and security training and you will be required to complete both the privacy and security modules as part of this year’s renewal process.
